Cowboys place 7 in Paonia
MEEKER I The Meeker High School Cowboy varsity wrestling team beat the Grand Valley Cardinals 42-22 in a dual meet last Thursday before wrestling in the competitive Screaming Eagle tournament in Paonia last Saturday, where they placed seven wrestlers in the top four.

When Rangely animal shelter manager Vicky Pfennig learned that Cesar Millan, made famous by the National Geographic Channel’s show “Dog Whisperer,” would be in Salt Lake City last Friday, she wasted no time gathering people to attend the show with her.
