School districts face cuts

As the legislature meets to balance next year’s budget, nearly $350 million in additional cuts to our children’s education are being proposed. Considering that we spend approximately $6,500 annually to educate a child in Colorado and $30,000 to incarcerate a person, these cuts call for careful reflection.
