MEEKER I Meeker Cowboy golfers headed to Montrose to play 36 holes over two days at Black Canyon Golf Course and Cobble Creek Golf Course.
Peter Hanks led the way for the Cowboys shooting an 83 and 88.
“The boys had a good couple days in Montrose,” said head coach Willy Theos.
Golf which starts much earlier than the other fall sports also ends much earlier to avoid snow.
This week was also a busy week with tournaments Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, scores to be reported next week.
