4-H members do well at state fair

RBC I Rio Blanco students in 4-H and FFA fared well at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo the past few weeks, led by Meeker’s Macy Collins, who, according to her mother, Kathy Collins, “just returned from a very successful state fair.”

We scream for ice cream…

Several hundred family members and individuals took part in the Rangely Museum’s Ice Cream Social at the museum on the east end of town on Sunday as part of Septemberfest.

Miss Teen United States…

Alyssa Magalong, a Colorado Springs resident but a student at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, recently won the Miss Teen United States title. She was highly visible over the weekend, taking part in Rangely’s Septemberfest activities.

This 1939 Ford was one of many shiny classic cars from a three-state area that were on display at the car show on Monday afternoon in Elks Park as part of Septemberfest in Rangely.

Town of Meeker board nixes recreational pot sales

Mural dedication …

A mural that now adorns the east side of Shepherd’s Office Outfitters was unveiled and dedicated Friday afternoon after a torrential rain. Barone’s 6th graders raise funds for Granby trip

MEEKER I It looks like the sixth-grade students at Barone Middle School in Meeker will have some early school-year bonding to do as they embark Sept. 16-19 on the second annual Sixth Grade Outdoor Experience in Granby, Colo.
