Dear Editor: How can it be that a year has passed since Mom died? After a two-decade long descent into dementia, dependence and debilitation, Dorothy is free from Alzheimer’s but her survivors aren’t. Alzheimer’s continues to devastate us, infecting our every memory of this beautiful, beloved person.

Neslin to leave as director of COGCC

Special to the Herald Times RBC I David Neslin will resign from his post as director of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission to return to the practice of law effective in February. Neslin was appointed director of the COGCC in November 2007.

Traker Frank Dembowski, of Rangely, Colo., born Aug. 2, 2010, son of Scott and Melissa Dembowski, and little brother of Kastyn, passed away on Jan. 29, 2012. Services will be held Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church, 1402 East Main St. in Rangely, Colo.
