Letter: Bark in the Park gets a wag of the tail

A huge thank-you to the Meeker Recreation Center for keeping the dream alive with this year’s Bark In the Park. It was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time socializing and meeting new friends. Thank you for opening the pool up, too, that was priceless.

KKR stops stock offer

RBC I The Associated Press reported Tuesday KKR & Co., the parent company of private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, shelved plans for a $500 million stock offering, citing unfavorable market conditions. Henry Kravis owns the Westlands Ranch upriver.
