MEEKER I Jon Burnell, son of Jody (and Caleb) Gardner and Sam Burnell, all formerly of Meeker, has entered into basic training for the U.S. Army in Fort Sill, Okla. He will graduate in March.
Obituary: Linda Adcock
Linda Jeanne Brannan Zuleger Adcock passed away on Jan. 13, 2010, at her home that she shared with Craig Mahoney in St. Louis. Linda was born on April 4, 1969, to Richard Lee and Linda Gail Brannan.

MEEKER I The Meeker Cowboys picked up two crucial league victories over the weekend, stopping the Hayden Tigers 64-54, and then cruising past the Vail Christian Saints on Saturday 67-40.
