Middle School Volleyball wrapped up this weekend with their final district tournaments. “It was a privilege to be a part of the middle school volleyball program this year,” began head coach of the seventh grade Molly Turner . ”The seventh grade girls are an amazing group of athletes.”
Both the A and B teams won the district tournament in Rangely this past weekend.
“I am most proud of them for their behavior on and off the court. They are such strong competitors, they worked hard, and are so very coachable; most of all, they are kind. A special thank you to Debbie Cook for stepping back into coaching this year, she is truly invaluable.” said Turner
The eighth grade B girls ended up taking 6th and the A team took third in the district tournament in Soroco this past weekend.
“I could not be more proud of this group of girls,” said head coach Jordan Brown, ”they fought hard in every match, and truly deserved every win. They came together as a team like never before, and showed the utmost respect to their teammates, opponents and referees. This group of girls had an incredible amount of growth through this season, and I look forward to watching them continue in their athletics.”
