Obituary: Toni Lynn Simmons

Toni Lynn Simmons was born in Meeker, Colo., to Chris and Lynn Carroll on Feb. 15, 1988. She attended all of her school years in Meeker, graduating from Meeker High School in 2006. Toni attended cosmetology school in Craig, Colo.

Parade winners named

MEEKER I The Meeker Chamber of Commerce has named winners for Thursday’s Fourth of July Parade: Best of Show: This winner best depicts this year’s theme “Keeping Traditions Alive.” Winner was Sable Mountain Outfitters.

Grand marshals…

Ethel Starbuck, 95, and Joe Sullivan, 93, took a brief stroll around the Rio Blanco County Courthouse lawn following Thursday’s annual Fourth of July Parade, which featured the two as grand marshals. Throughout today’s Herald Times are photos and stories on Range Call events.
