Stroke, osteoporosis screenings in Meeker

MEEKER I Residents living in and around Meeker can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture. Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds will host Life Line Screening on May 19. The site is located at 779 Sulphur Creek Rd. in Meeker.

Meeker wrestlers end season in Parachute

MEEKER I The final youth wrestling tournament of the season was held last Saturday in Parachute and all 15 Meeker wrestlers entered, placed in the top four, including 10 in the finals, where five were crowned champions.
