Coy found after disappearance
MEEKER I More than a week after she was last seen by family members, the body of Shirlee Coy, 77, of Meeker was found less than two miles from her home.

Author Sandy Munro (center) held a book signing at Wendll’s Wondrous Things in Meeker last week for his book “Finding Uri,” about the father he never knew. Munro’s grandson, Uri Goedert, a Barone Middle School sixth-grader and his great-grandfather’s namesake, also signed a book for his aunt, Cindy Welle.
