Lady Cowboys successful on homecoming
MEEKER I Friday was homecoming, and the Lady Cowboys weren’t to be denied. But it took some doing. Like five games, including winning the last three. Meeker rallied to win the match, 24-26, 20-25, 25-21, 25-22, 15-12.
Jr. high teams split contests
RBC I Rangely’s seventh-graders won in a shutout, 37-0, last week against Steamboat Springs, but the eight-graders lost a close one, 14-7. “It went down to the wire, as with most of our games,” coach Tim Webber said of the Rangely eighth-graders.
