LeBlanc named Wyoming’s top wrestler

MEEKER I Former Meeker standout Joe LeBlanc was named the University of Wyoming’s outstanding wrestler. Besides winning the Everett Lantz Outstanding Wrestler Award, LeBlanc, who as an All-American and NCAA qualifier, also won the team’s Steven Suder High Point Award.

Since Kacey’s radiation treatment in March, she is finally getting back to her old self. Although the tumor shrank quite a bit from the radiation, the fight is far from over. She doesn’t need to see any more doctors until June 14 for a follow-up MRI.

Honor society adds 13 members

MEEKER I National Honor Society is a nationally acclaimed program that strives for scholastic achievement and character building. This is a student-run program and this year’s National Honor Society officers are Cameron Glasscock — president, Nathan Bradfield — vice president, Jami Woodward — secretary and Timbre Shriver — treasurer.
