Barone rally falls short
MEEKER I After overcoming a 17-point deficit, Meeker’s Barone Middle School almost pulled off the big comeback. But the eighth-graders came up short, losing to Craig 37-35 in last Saturday’s district championship game. “This one did not start well,” said coach Neil Joy.
Lady Cowboys finish second in tourney
MEEKER I Opening the season with two wins put the Lady Cowboys into the championship game of the annual White River Electric Association Cowboy Shootout, where Meeker finished second to 3A Grand Valley.
New Arrival: Bradee Ann Seely
Bradee Ann Seely Taylor and Kendra Seely are proud to announce the arrival of their baby sister Bradee Ann. Bradee was born Oct. 6 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. She weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 20 inches long at birth.
