Taking shape…

Construction work continues at Meeker High School, with demolition of certain parts of the building happening this week, and new architectural “bone structure” taking shape in other areas, especially over the new entrance (picture). Workers are taking all necessary precautions due to COVID-19.

Newman named to honor roll

MEEKER | Elijah T. Newman of Meeker has been named to the scholastic honor roll for the summer term at Oregon State University. Newman, a sophomore, is studying biohealth sciences. To be on the honor roll students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.
