Thank you, Jeff, for having the patience to review the past 40 years of my life with me.
Letters To The Editor
Letter: Is there better option than a roundabout?
How would you like to access your driveway right in the curve of a roundabout or have your children crossing just before or after this roundabout?
Letter: Speaking up can lead to intimidation
Josh Halstead had the ability to state what many people think. Good job, Josh, and like most in this town, I am sure he didn’t speak up at the meeting due to embarrassment, and knowing that he would be attacked for speaking up in a mob mind forum.
Letter: Helping hands don’t need government
In response to far left opinions, there is a difference between helping your neighbor, and the government forcing you to hand over part of your hard earned living to someone else. People think that we have a right in America to be happy, this is not the case.
Letter: A reader’s wish list for the Democrats
What I would like the Dems to do: 1. No investigation of CIA. 2. No creation of a new dept. H.I.G. (High-Value Detainee Interrogation Group) for interrogation of terrorists, placed under dept. of FBI.
Letter: Illegal immigration is just that … illegal
Ms. Frijole-Barreno did just exactly what I expected. My comments regarding my love of America, its freedoms, liberties and Constitution, and the violation thereof by the radical liberal mind set of our present administration, and those who voted for it, were negated without investigation.
Letter: Thanks to all who helped with festival
To all the wonderful people and businesses in Rangely who help to make the Septemberfest luncheon a great success each year:
Letter: Forum open to anyone with an ax to grind
It is amazing what a convenient forum the “Letter to the Editor” column is in our nation’s newspapers.
Letter: Store owners says thank you for help
I would like to say thank you to the following people for making a difference to families who need help here in Colorado since we started officially in August. Due to their kindness with huge amounts of donations, three families in Colorado have been helped.
Letter: Opinions OK, if you were at the meeting
To Josh Halstead, the haughty, supercilious, self-aggrandizing position he took in last week’s Herald Times is truly astonishing.
Letter: Anti-Mexican feelings disturb letter writer
I am writing this in response to the town hall article and Mr. Halstead’s comments last week. First, I would like to say to Mr. Halstead, thank you! It is such a relief to hear that I am not the only one who isn’t anti-Mexican/anti-Spanish.
Letter: Words don’t mean same thing to all
There has been quite the murmur of political opinions in the Rio Blanco Herald Times as of late. More recently of those who lean to the left.
