Sometimes, this job sucks. And so does life sometimes. In case you haven’t already guessed, I’ve gone through a rough patch lately, for reasons professional and personal. Mistakes are hard to live with, whether in life or on the job.

When Tracy and Teresa Mack of Meeker watched the movie “Taking Chance,” it was like watching real life. Because it was. “It was really strange, but knowing the story, it was an instant cry through the whole movie,” Teresa said.

I am affiliated with the group www.soldiersangels.org, which sends care packages to soldiers stationed oversea. I have funds in an account that have been donated by the people in our community for just this purpose.
