Obituary: Lawrence M. Allred
Lawrence McKenzie Allred, 95, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, in his sleep. He was born Sept. 30, 1919, to Albert and Helen Marie Redden Allred in Vernal, Utah.

RANGELY I The month of November was Prematurity Awareness Month. Rangely High School’s FBLA chapter held a “No Shave November” competition to raise money for the March of Dimes.
Rangely cagers open season with win
RANGELY I The Rangely boys’ basketball team opened the season in the annual White River Electric Cowboy Shootout in Meeker and won one of three games during the event.
CNCC Craig campus names new vice president
RBC I Janell Oberlander from Rapid City, S.D., has officially accepted the position of CNCC Craig Campus vice president. She accepted the position when she spoke to CNCC President Russell George on Wednesday.

RHS grapplers visit Hotchkiss, Delta
RANGELY I Four Rangely High School Panthers wrestled in a dual against Hotchkiss on Friday before competing in the Delta tournament on Saturday. The Panthers were shut out by the Hotchkiss Bulldogs but wrestled better in Delta.
