RANGELY I With only five wrestlers, the Rangely High School Panthers opened the season at the Colorado Mesa University Duals in Grand Junction. Although the Panthers only won one dual, the Panthers won their fair share of matches.
EPA issues operation permit for Bonanza plant production
RBC I Last week, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a Title V permit allowing Deseret Power Electric Cooperative’s (DPEC’s) Bonanza power plant to continue operating under existing emissions control requirements. The final permit will go into effect Jan. 7, 2015.

Rangely Town Council hears updates, OKs $1 million in grant requests
RANGELY I The Rangely Town Council met Nov. 25. They heard updates from Town Manager Peter Brixius and approved the application process for grants totaling just under $1 million.
