RANGELY I Roughly 179 students received their degrees and certificates from Colorado Northwestern Community College on Saturday afternoon, culminating what for most students has been at least two years of hard work.

RANGELY I The two Rio Blanco County baseball teams played two doubleheaders during the regular season and played a single elimination game Saturday to determine which team would advance in the district tournament.

RANGELY I The Panther track team traveled to Battle Mountain on Saturday for the final meet of the regular season, returning with several top placers and personal bests, in preparation for the state qualifying regional meet Saturday at Grand Junction’s Stocker Stadium.
