RANGELY I The new Rangely District Hospital building’s grand opening brought hundreds of people through the doors for the first time on Friday.
RHS Panthers place six wrestlers
RANGELY I With only half of the 14 varsity weights filled last Saturday in Oak Creek, the Panther wrestling team placed six of its seven varsity wrestlers in the top three, including one champion, and placed fourth as a team in the Soroco Invitational.

Rangely Cub Scout Packs 189/191 held a pack meeting and did a service project called “Holiday Mail for Heroes” affiliated with the Red Cross, where scouts and families make cards for our service men and women everywhere to show gratitude for their service.

Rangely District Hospital will host an open house in the new hospital Friday, Dec. 14, giving tours of the new facility starting at 11 a.m. The new hospital is expected to open Jan. 7, 2013.

Obituary: Elizabeth Hinaman
Elizabeth (Ferenczi) Hinaman, aka Betty, Mom, Grammy, Aunt Betty and Mrs. Hinaman, had many phases in her life. She entered her last phase on Nov. 26, 2012 when she went to heaven to meet her husband Chester and her daughter Emma, who had taken this trip earlier.
