Community survey results announced
RBC — Results of Rio Blanco County’s community survey, conducted earlier this year, will be presented at 7 p.m. today at both the county administration building in Meeker, and the county’s western annex in Rangely, via videoconferencing.

Rangely has new heritage arts club
RBC — On Feb. 28, president Brittany Babineaux called the meeting to order with nine members attending. On March 9 the council held another monthly meeting with 10 members attending. The club would like to urge every 4-H member to attend council meetings.
Seminar set to explain commercial property valuation
RBC — For all interested business owners there will be a free seminar concerning Colorado’s commercial property valuation on April 13 at the Fairfield Complex in Meeker at 9 a.m. and at the Weiss Conference Room, CNCC in Rangely at 2 p.m.
Monument to open Harpers Corner Road for season
DINOSAUR — Dinosaur National Monument plans to open the Harpers Corner Road and the Green River Campground at 5 p.m. on April 10.
Williams drills 3,000th well
RBC — Williams Production RMT announced last week it has begun drilling its 3,000th natural gas well in the Piceance Basin.
February incidents up 22 percent
RBC — The combined incidents for the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office and the Meeker Police Department significantly increased during February 2009, with a 22 percent increase in activity compared to February 2008.
