Eskelson, Russell lead MHS runners
MEEKER I The Meeker High School cross country team opened up its distance running season this past weekend at Crown Mountain Park in Basalt, competing in Basalt High School’s Longhorn Invitational.

MEEKER I Aspen High School hosted the Meeker High School cross country team at the Chris Severy Invitational on Saturday with a tough course and some tough competition.

Cowboys’ cross country takes fifth at Eagle Valley
MEEKER I The Cowboys traveled to the Gypsum Creek Golf Course for the Eagle Valley Invitational this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day to run, and a strong showing for the Meeker team.

Results were not available for the Aspen cross country meet on Saturday but several runners from Meeker and Rangely competed, including Rio Blanco County’s best: seniors Caleb Lange of Meeker and Tanner Nielsen of Rangely.
