MEEKER I Former Rangely High School graduate William Scoggins added a little time but also added another title, making him the annual Run For Your Life 5K champion for a third year in a row.
Rio Blanco Cup returns to Meeker in annual tournament

Meeker High School graduates Taylor Neilson and Jeremy Musgrave where chosen by coaches to play basketball in the 2014 Colorado High School Coaches Association all-state games, which includes contests in basketball, softball, football, cross-country, softball, volleyball, spirit and wrestling.
Season-end tournament…
The Rangely 10-11 baseball team finished third in the season ending Northwest Colorado Baseball League, played last week on their home fields.
Save Our Track Walk-A-Thon July 5
MEEKER I “You don’t have to walk for four hours in the hot July sun,” Debbie Cook, organizer of the Save Our Track Walk-a-thon, said.

The season has started for the Rangely under-10 fast pitch softball team and all are rookies to the game. “They are doing great,” head coach Paul Fortunato said.

The Meeker 7 to 11 girls’ Little League fast pitch softball season ended June 14 with a 9-1 record.
Meeker Golf Course busy, hosts RBC Cup this weekend
RBC I The Meeker Golf Course was the site of two benefit tournaments last weekend and will host players from Rangely’s Cedar Ridges Golf Course this weekend for the eighth annual Rio Blanco County Cup.
