MEEKER I The Barone Middle School girls’ basketball teams split home games over the weekend, hosting Steamboat Springs Saturday morning for seventh and eighth grade A and B games.

Lady Panthers split games
RANGELY I The lady Panthers basketball team took their show on the road last weekend, playing in Baggs, Wyo., Friday last and then traveling to Kremmling for a game against the West Grand Mustangs. Rangely lost to Little Snake River 32-46, then beat West Grand 50-33.

RANGELY I More than 140 wrestlers from 12 different schools in Colorado and Utah competed in the Panther Invitational last Saturday and the Panthers crowned three champions. MEEKER I For the third time in as many tournaments, the Meeker High School wrestling team won the team title last Saturday, where they dominated the competition, winning by more than 75 points.
