RANGELY I The Panther football team lost 30-69 to the Hayden Tigers last Friday on Yaeger Field in Rangely for their second league loss of the season.
MHS X-country team competes in Anna Banana
MEEKER I The Cowboys headed down to Grand Junction to run along the Colorado River at the Anna Banana Memorial Wildcat Invitational this past weekend, competing with 23 other teams from both the sides of the state.

RANGELY I This year’s Rangely volleyball teams are doing amazing! Their first game against Craig went great for all four teams, where they all took home their first wins of the season.
Lady Panthers split league games
RANGELY I The lady Panthers volleyball team traveled to Paonia and Hayden last weekend for two league matches, losing in Paonia but winning in Hayden last Saturday. Rangely will host Vail Mountain Friday in the “Think Pink” game, played in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
BMS teams drop games
MEEKER I The Barone Middle School football team was at home Saturday against Grand Valley and both the seventh and eighth grade teams battled hard but fell short against the tough teams.
Cowboys drop Lake County 21-6 on the road
MEEKER I The Meeker Cowboys dropped the Lake County team in Leadville Friday night. The score was 21-6 at half time and the second half both defenses took over.
MHS vball ready for homecoming
MEEKER I Homecoming week is here for the Meeker volleyball team, bringing an overall record of 8-3, and a league record of 3-0 to the fun-filled week.

Everyone is invited to the Meeker Homecoming parade at 2 p.m. Friday, following a barbecue on the courthouse lawn to benefit the MHS athletic department starting at 11:30 a.m. Meeker will host the Paonia Eagles in volleyball and football Friday night.

William Scoggins outdistanced his closest competitor by a minute and fifty seconds as he won his third race of the year in a time of 16:57 at the Moffat County Cross Country Invitation this past weekend.

RANGELY I The game was close and the lead changed each quarter but at the end of the fourth, the West Grand Mustangs defended their home field, earning a 42-35 victory over the Rangely Panthers.
