MHS ends season in Moffat County
MEEKER I The Cowboy wrestling team ended its regular season in Craig last Thursday and although Meeker lost the dual (27-54) to Moffat County, they won the same number of matches wrestled as the 4A Bulldogs.
RMS debuts cheerleaders
RANGELY I Rangely Junior High School debuted its new cheerleaders Jan. 29. According to activities director Mark Skelton, it has been more than 15 years since they’ve had cheerleaders for the junior high.

RBC I The Meeker Cowboys boys’ basketball team overpowered Debeque with a 76-33 score on Friday and used a strong second half to get by North Park 57-28 on Saturday to run their current winning streak to seven games and a 9-4 overall record.

RANGELY I Like the Panther boys’ basketball team, the Lady Panthers won two games in Colorado but lost in Wyoming. The Lady Panthers pounced on Vail Christian 47-24 then pounded the West Grand Mustangs 61-32 before losing 20-51 to the Little Snake River Lady Rattlers in Baggs, Wyo., last Saturday.
