Fellows, Watt defend title

MEEKER I One of the challenges of the annual two-man golf scramble at the Meeker Golf Course is teams have to play 27 holes but defending champs Matt Fellows and J.C. Watt saved their their best round for the last nine holes and won the title again this year.

Meeker wrestlers end season in Parachute

MEEKER I The final youth wrestling tournament of the season was held last Saturday in Parachute and all 15 Meeker wrestlers entered, placed in the top four, including 10 in the finals, where five were crowned champions.

Wrestlers finish strong

RANGELY I The Rangely Youth Wrestlers finished up their season in Parachute this past weekend. Twenty wrestlers competed in the tournament and all did an outstanding job.

BMS tracksters do well

MEEKER I The Barone Middle School tracksters participated in a large meet in Eagle Valley Saturday and certainly saw a great deal of competition.
