RBC I Meeker found a new way to put the ball on the ground Friday night and lost their homecoming game 6-24. In a game that was close up until the middle of the fourth quarter, the Black and Gold again came up short.

MEEKER I The JV Cowboys lost a wild, high-scoring game to Craig 56-42. Cowboy JV coach Obediah Deming’s team led for most of the game, until a few bad breaks led to Craig’s win.
Panthers earn big win over Tigers
The Rangely volleyball team came away from the weekend with a big win over the Hayden Tigers, despite having to take the court without without senior Quincy Thacker, who missed the game due to illness, and a rolled ankle that took Brittney Babineaux out of play during the game.

Panthers lose big to Tigers
The Panthers went looking for competition and found it against the JV Tigers of Grand Junction last week. The Panthers were shut out 54-0.

RANGELY I The Panther’s cross country teams competed in their second meet of season by getting up early Saturday morning and making the trek to Basalt to participate in the Longhorn Cross Country Invitational.

RANGELY I The Panthers held their first home game Friday last and lost to a bigger 2A Basalt Longhorns team on Yeager Field.
Ladies split matches
MEEKER I Coming off four wins in their first tournament of the season, the lady Cowboys remained undefeated before a hometown crowd last Friday but lost their first match of the season in Oak Creek last Saturday.
