Ladies beat Plateau Valley 48-30
RANGELY I The Rangely girls’ basketball team pounded the lady Cowboys from Plateau Valley 48-30 at home and will finish the regular season on the road, in Meeker Friday and Paonia Saturday. “It wasn’t pretty but it was a win,” head coach Jimmie Mergelman said.

RHS Panthers win two in front of hometown fans
RANGELY I The Panther boys’ basketball team earned two wins last weekend in front of hometown fans and will play one on the road Friday before returning home to Saturday for league contest. The Panthers beat Vail Mountain 66-51 Friday last then pounded North Park 59-31 Saturday.

RANGELY I Five Rangely wrestlers, including three with state experience will compete in the state qualifying regional tournament this weekend and their coach is expecting big things from his small crew.
