RANGELY I If experience is a luxury, then the Lady Panthers’ volleyball team is really sitting pretty. Out of the 30 girls on the Rangely Senior High volleyball team, which includes the junior varsity and C team, almost half of them are seniors.
Meeker golfer second at Rifle
RBC | Meeker High School’s Trey Morris shot an 18-hole score of 74 to finish second Aug. 23 at Rifle Creek Golf Course. Cross-county rival Rangely Senior High was led by seniors Kacey Denny and Caleb Templeton with scores of 96.

RANGELY I After only three days of practice, Rangely Senior High golfers participated in their first tournament Aug. 12 at Battlement Mesa Golf Course. Playing a tough course and in windy conditions, the Panthers struggled according to coach Ellen Boudreaux.

RBC I It wasn’t the showing they were hoping for, but just the fact they made to it to state was quite an accomplishment. Rio Blanco County’s American Legion baseball team finished fourth at last weekend’s state tournament in Craig, winning one game and losing two.
