RANGELY I This past weekend, the Rangely High School Track Team competed at the Western Slope Multi-League Track and Field Championships in Grand Junction, and throughout the two-day meet, there were many great performances, many coming from athletes wearing “Rangely” across their chests.

RANGELY I Rangely tracksters woke up early Friday to compete in Montrose for their meet this week. Bleary eyed that morning, few could’ve guessed what was in store for the day. Some records were broken, some medals were earned and some bus problems appeared.

RHS track boys first, girls second
RBC I The Rangely High School track team hosted their own invitational on Saturday, and several strong performances emerged as the athlete fought cool windy conditions. The boys won their meet while the girls finished second.

RBC I Ten Rio Blanco middle school wrestlers, including eight from Rangely, wrestled in the Western Slope Regional Tournament in Grand Junction. Nine of those 10 wrestlers qualified for the state tournament in Denver.
