It is wonderful to see and hear about all the Meeker and Rangely high school seniors filling out applications, taking their tests, checking into scholarships and grants and even student loans in preparation for life after high school.

Meeker School District to use reserve funds on budget shortfall
MEEKER I Meeker School District unanimously passed a revised budget Tuesday night that included the projected $1.26 million shortfall being covered by the district’s reserve funds. The approved budget meets 2013-2014 obligations with no major cuts in teachers or programs, Superintendent Mark Meyer said.
