Lifelong Meeker resident Glen I. Glasgow, 91, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, after a brief illness. He resided in the Walbridge Memorial Wing at Pioneers Medical Center.
Museum, RBCHS invited to join event

MHS boys earn three wins
MEEKER I The Meeker High School boys’ basketball team finished the week with three big wins. The Cowboys began their streak Tuesday night against Rangely, beating the Panthers 65-52 behind a balanced scoring attack led by senior Jeremy Musgrave with 20 points.
Obituary: Ronald Glen Kettle
Ronald Glen Kettle, 68, passed away Jan. 10, 2014, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyo. He was born in Montrose, Colo. on Aug. 10, 1945, to Jesse Glen Kettle and Margaret (Penko) Kettle.
Panthers find success at home tournament
RANGELY I More than 150 wrestlers from 13 schools competed in the inaugural Vern Rose Memorial wrestling tournament in Rangely on Saturday, and all six varsity Panthers advanced to the championship round. “The tournament was a success,” Rangely head coach Jeff Heinle said.
