RBC I Saturday’s track meet at Battle Mountain High School proved to be a success for the Meeker High School Track and Field Team. The girls’ team had numerous athletes who moved into the top 18, putting themselves in position to make the trip to state in two weeks.

County postal carriers to collect food on Saturday
RBC I Rangely and Meeker post offices and postal carriers will be collecting non-perishable food on Saturday as part of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) program to “Stamp Out Hunger.”
Meeker Rec. Center to close for a week
MEEKER I The Meeker Recreation Center will be closed for its annual shutdown beginning May 19 and continuing through May 27 in recognition of Memorial Day. Normal business hours will resume at 5 a.m. on May 28.
