For the past two months Rangely 4-H members collected shoes at the Western Annex, Recreation Center, and the Parkview Elementary School. In the end 135 pairs of gently used and new shoes were collected.

Rangely school district celebrates successful year

The Rangely School District was proud to announce another successful school year in which academic success was impressive as demonstrated by federal recognition, state standardized assessments scores and most importantly, the daily learning activities in the classrooms.

Local author Lou Dean, along with donkey Jesse James and dogs Keeper and Lucky, was photographed at her Blue Mountain home last week for a story that will appear in a special Guideposts Christmas publication this December.
