Sutton donates dinosaur bone

RANGELY I Glen Sutton, who retired from Chevron in 1986, donated a dinosaur fossil (an Apatosaurus femur) to the Rangely Museum and last Saturday, Sutton and his wife Frances were at the Rangely Museum for an open house, celebrating the new exhibit.

The criteria must have been impeccable character, unmatched work ethic, family values and tremendous history in the area. In spite of cloudy skies overhead, the Onda band took the stage and kicked off the ERBM Recreation and Parks District’s summer entertainment series beneath the large tree on the southeast corner of the courthouse lawn.

MEEKER I Erik Brown and Lex Collins have been partners in the annual two-man best ball golf tournament the past 18 years and the pair turned in the best net score in the championship flight of the two-day event at the Meeker Golf Course.
