Dear Editor: I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Meeker Lions Club for their recent donation of breakfasts and lunches to the volunteers at the R100 Archery Shoot. I truly appreciate all that the Lions Club has done and continues to do for the community.

National Public Lands Day

MEEKER | All ages are invited to celebrate National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 22 by volunteering on the local trails above Meeker with the BLM and ERBM Recreation and Park District.

RBC runners compete at Eagle Valley Invitational

RANGELY | The Rangely Panther Cross Country team traveled to Gypsum Creek Golf Course for the Eagle Valley Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, running against schools from Denver and Boulder, and with 244 boys and 195 girls.
