CPW seeks public help after 3 more elk poached
RBC I Colorado Parks and Wildlife is investigating three additional incidents of illegally killed bull elk in high-quality hunting units in Northwest Colorado, adding to three high-quality bulls illegally killed in Game Management Unit 10 in early November, near the town of Dinosaur.

Julius “Doc” Klepack, 13, of Miami, Fla., harvested this buck north of Debeque while hunting with Dave Morlan of Meeker, among others. Klepack shot the buck, which scored 220 points, with a .280 rifle.

First elk…
Twelve-year-old Tanner Ridgeway of Meeker took his first elk recently, hunting just south of Meeker with his dad, DJ Ridgeway. Tanner shot the elk with his .243, hunting on LO7. His uncle, Olle Larson, who is from Sweden, was along on the adventure.
