Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 7. Remember to set your clocks back one hour. The current schedule, adopted in 2007, calls for DST to extend from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November.

After a soggy week of rain in the valley, the snow on the Flat Tops will hopefully improve hunting success in the area. Long-range weather forecasts predict warmer-than-average temperatures for the first half of the winter with above normal precipitation for the northwest corner of the state.
Cowboys need win, help in playoff push
MEEKER I It’s down to a one-game season. Even then, the Cowboys will need some help. “We had to beat Hayden (to qualify for the playoffs),” Meeker football coach Jeff Palmer said. “Now we have to beat Hotchkiss. That would look really good on our resume for a wild-card berth.”
