Meeker students share their ideas for school site

MEEKER I Everyone has the future of the old elementary school on their minds, it would seem. Even students who left elementary school behind years ago. FCCLA members Ryan Wix, Sage Chapin and Elissa McLaughlin won the regional FCCLA competition with their “illustrated talk” about the historic downtown building.

Peewee wrestling finale Sat.

MEEKER I The final peewee wrestling tournament of the season will be Saturday in Rangely. More than 20 wrestlers from Meeker competed last Saturday in De Beque and more than half of them placed in the top four of their brackets.

MHS art show starts next week

MEEKER I High school art students show off some of the work they have created in the annual Spring Art Show. This year’s show will be up at the Meeker Recreation Center, starting Tuesday and running through Thursday during regular business hours.
