MHS softball off to good start
MEEKER I This year marks the first year for Meeker High School’s softball team, and what a start it has been. The team is currently 7-3 and has outscored its opponents by more then 70 runs.
Lady Cowboys softball team sweeps Rifle
MEEKER I The Lady Cowboys softball team traveled to Rifle Thursday, Sept. 11, and swept the Bears with 10-1, 11-6 victories. They were led by pitchers Christina Pryce of Steamboat Springs and Maria Gonzalez of Meeker.

Dear Editor: On Aug. 11, Meeker High School welcomed 17 young ladies to the first practice of the Lady Cowboys’ softball team. The young women arrived with anxiety and excitement at the opportunity to help build another solid program for the Meeker athletic department.
