Lady Panthers VB beats Meeker twice

RANGELY I Nothing like getting tested early. Rangely Senior High’s volleyball team won three out of its four matches last weekend in a tournament at Glenwood Springs, including one against county rival Meeker.

Rangely golfers play at Cedaredge

Bud Striegel of Rangely, owner of W.C. Striegel Inc., had this sign erected on Highway 139, about 25 miles south of Rangely. Striegel is contracted by a company to repair a natural gas pipeline passing under the roadway.

Ruth King honored by Rangely Library

RANGELY I Ruth King had a surprise homecoming this week. King was honored with a dedication reception Tuesday at the Rangely Regional Library, which was planned without her knowledge.
