RANGELY I A house fire broke out early Monday morning south of Rangely, severely damaging the home and resulting in a female living at the residence being taken to Rangely District Hospital with minor injuries, the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office reported.

RBC I Rio Blanco County Sheriff Si Woodruff has set a new vehicle accident policy for the county as a proactive stance to protect motor vehicle accident victims and first responders from risk of death or injury during the cold winter season.
Search and rescue sent out twice

Accidental shooting claims life of Meeker man
