RBC | During October 2009, the Rio Blanco County Communications Center experienced a remarkable 27.4 percent decrease in activity compared to October 2008.

RBC — Both the Meeker Police Department and the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office now have canine units in service that received training at the prestigious Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, Ind.

MEEKER — The district attorney’s office is reviewing the findings from a Colorado Bureau of Investigations report on the shooting at the Valley Motel, and a decision is expected soon.
