Korean War, WWII vets unveil Rangely’s veterans memorial

Veterans from World War II and the Korean War unveiled John Kobald’s “Sacrifice and Resolution” memorial for all Rio Blanco County veterans on Tuesday afternoon in Rangely.

Approximately 75 veterans representing service in all major conflicts since World War II attended an annual barbecue at the Elks Club in Rangely on Monday afternoon. Attendees shared conversation and stories at the event, which Rangely resident Sam Tolley has hosted for several years running.
