MEEKER I The Meeker High School track team performed well in Cedaredge last Saturday and is preparing to compete in the Frank Woodburn Invitational this Saturday at Stocker Stadium in Grand Junction.

Mossie Percifield (mom) of Rangely, Colo., passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at the age of 101. She was born in Tennessee on Aug. 8, 1914, to William David and Hester Melinda Fortner.

Daniel’s Fund seeks grant, scholarship recipients
RBC I The Daniels Fund announced that it awarded $62.8 million in grants and scholarships in 2015. This included $46.5 million in grants to highly effective non-profit organizations throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, as well as to select national organizations.
