Your weekly news roundup: Dec. 28, 2023

Hello dear readers!

It’s officially the week when we can’t tell what day … or year … it is. Date disorientation plus nose-hair freezing cold, a sprinkle of holiday drama, and some sad events have left me pretty *checks thesaurus* … phlegmatic? Listless? Apathetic? One of those.

HOWEVER, there’s been a fresh Herald every week for the past 7,219 weeks, and since we refuse to break that rather phenomenal streak, here we are!

If you’re also having a hard time with this season, I get it. I hope you find some little pockets of peace to soothe your soul. <3

Now, to the {mostly} good news!

But first, a rabbit trail!

Why yes, we DO cry when we watch it

CPW Photo

On our radar.

Since wolves haven’t *technically* been released in our official area of news coverage, all we’ve published so far are CPW’s press releases.

We are keeping an eye on additional reporting, however, and have included links to additional reporting (AKA non-government press releases) below.

From this week’s Editor’s Column

Happy New Year! Cheers to new beginnings.
