Senators Mark Udall and Michael Bennet hailed the passage of their bill to rename the Department of Veterans Affairs telehealth clinic in Craig after Medal of Honor winner Army Major William Edward Adams.

Helen E. Tyler June 1, 1927 ~ Sept. 13, 2011 Helen E. Tyler joined the Lord on Sept 13, 2011, after a lengthy struggle with lung cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. She passed peacefully at the Walbridge Wing in Meeker, Colo., with her husband at her side.

The Meeker High School class of 1961 celebrated the 50th anniversary of their graduation on Sept. 13-14 at the beautiful autumn setting of the Campbell Creek Ranch Train Depot building owned by Bud Streigel who was the gracious host for this memorable occasion.

Good samaritans still exist

Despite my husband’s recent major joint surgery, my back and neck problems, and the fact that we are no longer youngsters, we decided to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and go “leaf peeking” on the Flat Tops last Sunday.
