My name is Collin Cochran. I am currently a Life rank Scout trying to become an Eagle Scout. To become an Eagle Scout I must lead people in a community service project. My project is to paint the Meeker High School football stands.
Memorial Service: Herb Blagg
A memorial service for Herb Blagg, who died April 22, will be held Friday at the Meeker Christian Church at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Twin Peaks Bible Camp would be appreciated in his name. Blagg, 81, was a longtime pharmacist in Meeker.

Players honored for accomplishments at end-of-season basketball banquet
MEEKER I The boys’ basketball team culminated its season April 18 at its annual banquet, hosted by the senior players’ parents. MHS coaches Neil Joy and Matt Dupire handed out junior varsity participation certificates to 11 younger members of the team who did not compete at the varsity level.

Herbert Bruce Blagg, 81, of Morriston, Fla., died Apr. 22, 2010. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends at Haven Hospice.
